She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary science and math methods as well as supporting STEM education locally and across the globe. Beth is an active leader in science， math and STEM education. She is the Associate Editor of Science and Children (an elementary NSTA journal)， the chair of the NSTA Nominations Committee， and an active member of state and national professional organizations. She previously served on the Professional Development Committee for the National Science Education Leaders Association (NSELA)， as the Elementary Director for the Arkansas Science Teachers Association (ASTA)
